Can't wait to go back
Husband and I go to Pismo Beach as often as we can. We normally do most of our eating at Avila. We have eaten at Fat Cats many times, always having a great meal, we have probably had most of their dinner items, and this time (3/14/24) did not disappoint. I had the halibut special, which was a lilttle disappointing (my fault) I should have asked if it was breaded or battered, it was breaded, it was good, and fries (my choice were as always good. ). Husband had large sauteed shrimp & scallops with creamy alfredo sauce over fettuccini, comes in big serving bowl. We were going to go back next night but decided on another Avila restaurant(mistake), so we did go back on Saturday 3/16/24. Husband had calamari tubes and tentacles,(which he loves), I had the 3 crab cakes, which I LOVE, each meal came with fries (our choice). Again, we have probably had most things from dinner menu, and all have been great. Best Food in Alva

I ate there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. I will definitely eat there the next time I'm in the area. Food was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Carl and his staff provide great service and the food is prepared to perfection. For seafood, Fat Cats is the place to go although we live in Nipomo the drive is worth it.

Have been there many times. Even when they first opened with my mom and they had cats laying around the restaurant. One was very orange and fat and laid up in the window all the time.

I love Fat Cats Cafe in Avila, CA

We like the food in service too. However, we won't be back there much because they're not pet friendly. Other restaurants in Avila Beach are pet friendly.
